Sauna at Janis Dalins Stadium!
From this week, a sauna is available to every visitor at the Jānis Daliņa Stadium. The sauna is available both to residents of Valmiera region and to everyone, as well as to participants of camps and competitions.
Benefits of visiting a sauna after a workout:
- Several studies have shown that a 30-minute sauna session after exercise reduces muscle soreness and promotes better recovery.
- The heat from the sauna improves blood circulation and the regeneration process is activated accordingly. When sweating, the body removes “waste substances” accumulated in the muscles.
- The greatest health benefits are provided by visits to the sauna, which are regularly included in the training plan.
- Studies have shown that visiting the sauna on your own has a positive effect on the brain, increases concentration, strengthens the nervous system and reduces stress, which undoubtedly has a positive effect on a person’s physical and mental performance!
We draw your attention to the fact that after physical training, you must cool down your muscles and take a cool shower before going to the sauna.
Any day, by prior application, at least 3 days in advance!
